Pizza, pet shop 'n' pills...

Playlist

Kitaro - Ten Years 1976-1986
Pet Shop Boys - 2017 Setlist

Out tonight with the Exec Producer - a tasty pizza and then to the Playhouse to meet up with Craigieboy Creek and Chris-with-a-Ch...

...to witness the latest show...

...by the fabulous Pet Shop Boys...

The lady in front seemed to watch the entire show through her phone...

What a strange idea of a night out the upcoming generations appear to have...

The PSB were on fire tonight...

...although Neil Tennant does seem to have a particular penchant (or paunch-ant) for an ill-fitting glitzy jerkin going on...

For almost the entire show, the band was lit from behind - but hey, every time we see the PSB it's like a new Art Exhibition...

Still at it...

In the end, even Craigieboy succumbed to temptation...

I really enjoyed the setlist, with its judicious smattering of several extremely good non-single tracks from across the long PSB career...

Opportunities (Let's Make Lots Of Money)
The Pop Kids
In The Night
Burn
Love is a Bourgeois Construct
New York City Boy
Se A Vida É (Thats The Way Life Is)
Love Comes Quickly

The Pop Kids (reprise)

As always though, the evening was kind of ruined by far too many of our fellow audients who, having paid over 70 quid to witness the spectacle in the flesh, seemed content to instead drink profusely, chat, go continuously in and out to the toilet and/or bar and WATCH THE ENTIRE SHOW THROUGH THEIR PHONES...

Hell is other people...

Back home, a visit from our wee chum Tiger was much enjoyed...

...as was the taking of my final antibiotic...

..as was the 24 hour dealyed "Holby" - featuring evil Isaac...

Quickly put together a playlist of the setlist for future enjoyment, then...

Lights out...

Highlight of the Day : Pet Shop Boys...
