Various - Weekly Playlist No 9
Creston Symphonies 1-3
I made a major error of judgement today...
I decided not to record the weekly podcast live, as it takes around two hours to do so...
Instead, I recorded the links on the little hand held recorder I bought a few weeks ago and then attempted to fit them in between the chosen tracks...
Of course actually choosing the tracks took a while too - I generally listen to around 400-500 tracks a week and choose 25 for the podcast...
Suffice to say, I spent most of the day on this stupid project, trying to put things through various different types of editing software et-bloody-cetera...
At the end of the day, what I ended up with was of such hopeless quality, that I abandoned the work very late afternoon and will return to it tomorrow...
On the upside was the return to winning ways achieved by QoS, thumping unbeaten in eight games Dumbarton 3-1 in Dumfries - Hearts were not so lucky, thrashed at Motherwell - 4-1 I believe...
So what else happened?
Well, Meg the Black Cat was weighed and found to be a reasonable 3.1kgs - maintaining her weight nicely...
What a wee cutie she is...
And a nice day weather wise...
...and an episode of "Poirot" was enjoyed...
We did not venture out until the evening...
Along to the Murrayfield Hotel, Spotify account name and password in head, for tonight's 25th Wedding Anniversary get together for Bobby and Jane...
Nephew Ollie and chums Murray, Jack, Owen, Jamie and the other one - man it's hard to remember names these days - enjoyed some FIFA Football via X-Box...
..and some mobile phone stuff - goodness knows what, possibly reading previous entries from this...
Probably not..
Your correspondent spent much of the night chatting with nephew Craig and step-niece Rebecca and guitar and car owner Alan plus entertaining niece Kitty and her chum Katherine...
...and dancing with said young, ladies, friends of Jane and of course the Exec Producer...
Happy Anniversary J & B...
A taxi home post 1am...
Excellent night...
Highlight of the Day : Party...
