The Man Who Forgets Far Too Easily

I am forever saying to Anne "OK I won't forget", only to find upon being asked if I remembered to do something, that I have indeed forgotten to do it.

For instance, today I left the house with the intention of, at some point, making two appointments - one to have our car looked over by our mechanic and the other to have me looked over by our doctor. At one point I did remember to make a doctor's appointment but, seeing as I was at that particular point without either access to a phone or the doctor's number it was to no avail. When I got home, I once again had to utter my catchphrase "I'm sorry, I forgot".

Hopefully I'll remember tomorrow.

Crispycat Latest Release

David Reilly AKA Cloudland Blue Quartet, created his first soundscape, "The Drone Effect" back in December 1977. 46 years later, he finally gave two live soundscape performances, in Edinburgh on 4 November 2023 and in Newcastle on 18 January 2024, playing the 40 minute piece available here on Bandcamp as "Live Suite 2023/24". On 30 August 2024 he premiered a new 40 minute suite for 2024/25 at Fopp in Edinburgh and this piece was performed again at the Switched On Electronic Music Festival in Whitby, Yorkshire on 9 November 2024. This album, "Live Suite 2024/25" was created specifically to be performed at these last two events and, like "Live Suite 2023/24", may well be performed again in the future. In a one-man crusade to encourage the world to broaden its musical horizons, David has been broadcasting a weekly Eclectic Selection of music from across his vast record collection since 2014.
