Up late ...
Post breakfast, writing up the books of CDs I own...
Another 24 added, up to page 88 in book 2, with 12,751 entries now, all told…
Coming up for 40 years of CDs across the 2 (so far) books, so the average is “only” around 320 a year…
Mind you that’s 6 CDs a week…for 40 years!
Decided to go to Glasgow - Anne was off to Dunfermline with Lynn and Lynn's sister, Sheila and some other chums to Dhoom for a long lunch...
We walked down the hill...
Approaching the bottom, I spotted the Glasgow bus arriving at the stop and "sprinted" to get it...
The view from the office this morning, as I headed to my home town...
Arrived pre noon - with a selection of DVDs in my bag in which Anne was no longer interested...
Walked down to Missing, stopping off in Shelter on the way and picking up a classical CD for 50p...
Missing are expanding...
The boys in Missing took all but 5 of the DVDs and offered me just £5 cash or £8 exchange...
No wonder Missing are expanding...
Took the latter and took 90 minutes to decide what to buy, ending up spending £4 on top - and coming away with 3 CDs for £2 and 3 CDs for £10...
Out into the sun...
...and a short walk to Bombay Blues for their buffet lunch...
Tasted better than it looks in these...
Mixed pakora and spicy potato...
Chicken Karai...
Lamb Rogan Josh...
Forewent the puddings on offer and headed back out into the sun...
...and along towards the Tron...
Into Mono and found a CD by Thisquietarmy for £2...
Then, the walk back to the bus station...
Stopped off at Love, but nothing further found...
Under 4 hours spent in Glasgow...
Onto the bus for a 3:30 departure...
During the journey, checked out the Discogs value re my £6.50 outlay (plus a few DVDs) - £80...
Jumped off the bus around 4:40 and straight onto a 26 up the hill...
Home just before 5...
Quick turnaround and along the road to wait for Anne and Lynn getting off the bus from Dunfermline...
Lift home for them both...
Back at base around 6pm...
No ripping today but listening took place to the haul content...
50p from Shelter...
3 for £2 from Missing...
Including this, by erstwhile collaborator Luca Villani...
3 for £10, including this 3CD set...
...and this 2CD set...
...and this reasonably rare Crimso artifact...
...and the £1.99 ambient CD from Mono...
The two Arabian ones are a bit iffy but, all in all, reasonable...
Initial listening in the Living Room with the noise cancellers before moving upstairs for the far better sound of the AKG 702s...
On telly, a "Cold Case", a couple of "Friday Night Dinner" and the first 2 of the new series of "Fisk", all entertained, pre bed at midnight...
Highlight of the Day: Trip to the Weedge...

Good Glasgow pics. In answer to the how many question I reckon I've twelve at the moment. Some a legacy from my on line shop. Not all fully usable so I can tinker with them which I quite enjoy. The majority have been gigged and/or used in studio recordings. Cheers
You are the Guitar Man Johnny B!
