Then, to the tram...

40 minutes later, I was at the Foot of Leith Walk...
5 CDs for £5 at the hospice shop and three for £1 at the BHF shop...
A tram back to the West End and a brisk walk to the Cathedral once again...
Today, a piano recital from very accomplished pianist Susan Tomes...
She played works by Marianna Martinez, Maria Szymanowska (the first person to play a recital from memory, back in the 1820s), Clara and Robert Schumann and Claude Debussy...
Today, I was up the back...
...coincidentally with my and Anne's cushions in front of me...
Out at 2...
...and a walk back for the bus home, stopping in at the BHF Shandwick Place branch, where a CD is not 33p but, rather, £3...
Took one good one...
It was roasting again..
On the bus “sandwiched” between two young men showing a distinct lack of consideration for their fellow passengers…
The one on the left put his foot down voluntarily...
The one on the right eventually had both feet up, with the soles of his shoes on the back of the seat opposite, so I tapped his arm and said “people have to sit there you know”...
His feet were immediately down…
