Up pre 6...

Did nothing but scroll through Twitter and Bluesky...

Then bringing up to date my playlist of UK No 1 LPs I "acquired at the time"...

Downloaded a quartet of items, two new things and two old reggae LPs...

Suddenly had the thought, "what if I put the Yamaha CS5 through the Disquietmusik system?"...

Got the synth out the attic and set things up...

Improvised for around 40 minutes...

Split it in two...

Treated it a la Disquietmusik re four copies 0.2 seconds apart across the stereo spectrum...

For each "half", I duplicated at half speed, cut that in two, took the second half and reversed it then combined all three elements...

Obtained a couple of titles from Eno's diary for today's date...

A new CBQ LP...

Lunch with a "Dr Who" documentary...

Then, to the hospital...

Mum reasonable...

...all things considered...

Trying to get her to work her phone to no avail - instead, face-timed Lex & Moira again...

Lifted mum's spirits a bit...

And another with Anne...

The journey home took an hour, including two stops for bread, chocolate and money...

First at Lidl at Straiton - but no self service machines instore and people doing their monthly shop in front of me...

Put my stuff back and drove to Marchmont for a success at Sainsbury Local...

A tasty pasta tea and first ever episode of "The Thick of It"...

While Anne watched the "Strictly" results, I enjoyed the new LP on the cans...

Compiled a new playlist of, now, 8 upcoming CBQ albums...

Then, started work on the string quartet songs project - another thing for 2024 - and finished a demo of Joy Division's "Love Will Tear Us Apart"...

Late on, some filing led to the "sorting out" of the box sets...

Bed...

Highlight of the Day : Creating a new LP and single...
