Friday and up early to trawl this week's new releases...
Which includes the remix I did a couple of months back for Western Jaguar...
It closes off his LP - which is nice...
Also continuing with he ripping and listening re yesterday's acquisitions...
Since my visit to Currys and having the laptop "tuned", following the advice re restarts...
Had to delete a load of the oldest CDs from the iPhone to make space for the new influx...
Anne was off out with chum Debbie to the Botanics...
Watched some videos on Youtube from a guy who, like me, hardly ever actually plays his records and CDs anymore...
...and who, like me, does not stream but has all his music on hard drives...
For future reference, it was this man...
Of course, finding him whilst writing this, sent me off down another big timewasting rabbit hole...
Oh dear...
Next, I did some CD filing and sorted out the boxes of various artist compilations...
Then, sorting out the "Shelves" in my iTunes - i.e. the last 100 CD acquisitions (which actually sit on the living room shelf - back to 29 August - 13 weeks) and the last 100 Download Acquisitions (back to 20 November - just 4 days!!)...

At 13:06 I started the trip to Arnold Clark - the car needs a repair (thankfully, under warranty) so I needed to go and pick up a courtesy car...
I arrived 80 minutes later...
...left again after 29 minutes...
...and was home 36 minutes after that...
Almost 2.5 hours out the day...
The car cannot connect with the Bluetooth on my phone so I was reduced to listening to the radio on the way back...
Enjoyed 2 episodes of "Hullraisers" and then "The Scotts"...
This evening, my new fave dish, salmon and prawn tagliatelle with creme fraiche...
Then, made the podcast...
To the hospital, Bonnyrigg from today - after a transfer from the infirmary - via Loanhead to pick a couple of things up...
Home just after 9...
"Have I Got News For You" entertained...
Then, the "Taskmaster" grand final..
Listening back to the podcast...
And bed...
