Of course I did not write any notes for today...

I was up well before this but, again, around 8:20 of so and, therefore, "late"...

Out this morning on a few errands...

Taking the glass that was to have been our splashback (now the Warhol poster) to the dump...

A £40 blind which w bought and then replaced by the yellow one, to the Cancer Research Shop...

Anne's mum's drugs picked up from the pharmacy and put into the correct boxes in her apartment...

Then, a drive over to Lasswade...

We were going to lucn at my old schooldays haunt, The LAird and Dog but were a bit early so we parkd...

..and took a walk around...

Cold and bright...

Back to the Laird and a lovely lunch enjoyed...

Then to Bonnyrigg hospital to visit y mum - buoyed by seeing Anne after quite a while but not buoyed by having spent the last couple of days undergoing "treatment" for "blocked upness"...

Back home and things arrived - the two Coop CDs, whisked off not to be seen till 25 December and the adapter I needed to put my mic straight into the reverb unit...

But the outcome is far too much reverb and so I introduced the second desk into the set up instead...

A waste of £3.15?  Maybe...

Some rehearsals ensued...

And of course, having made no notes, I don't know what else happened but the above as probably enough...

Anne home - lunch and "Foundation" but had to cut short due to Anne's mum hairdressing appointment...

This was followed by Anne shopping...

As for me, I was mucking about compiling my top[ 380 LPs of 2023 (so far!)...

A visit from Rocky buoyed...

Not a long visit of course and off she went on her way...

Anne home and tonight, we powered down from 5 till 6:30 re an experiment from our power providers...

Soundtracked by some Simon Evans shows on BBC Sounds...

Wine...

...was accompanied by a splendid salmon and prawn tagliatelle with creme fraiche, now my fave dish...

Some music listening downstairs - 100 2023 LPs on shuffle...

Watched the end of "Foundation"...

A visit form Fang, who made himself comfy on our bed...

"Portrait Artist of the Year Final" was watched...

Then "Shetland"...

Back upstairs a box chosen...

...and Eric Dolphy enjoyed...

...followed by Arild Anderson and Tommy Smith...

...while I wrote the notes to try and keep this up to date...

Into the wee record shop and I couldn't resist four 5 CD sets for £10...

Back up the hill and John was off, leaving me to my ripping and listening...

Anne. meanwhile was off out with her mum...

On her return, soup for lucnh and the final episode of season 1 of "Foundation" - we have been sucked in...

More ripping and listening, then sorting out all my compilations while listening to Mendelssohn...

Did some voice and string quartet only mixes of the five new tracks, while slowing "Human" down and speeding "Rocket Man" up...

Kerelan Chicken Curry for tea...

...as we moved into season 2 of "Foundation"...

More ripping and listening as Anne watched the final of "Bake Off"...

Ordered two Alice Cooper CDs for Xmas - the new versions of "School's Out" and "Killer"...

Stared compiling the podcast...

Downloaded the new super deluxe version of "The Yes Album" and a coupe of Falco singles...

And, new to me, Seventh Stitch...
