We headed in the direction of said venue this evening but, first, for the first time in probably over 30 years, to the Jolly on Elm Row...
Bruschetta and soup to start - this time, unlike the last time, no daddy long legs floating in my soup - which allowed me to utter the immortal line "waiter there's a fly in my soup"...
Pasta and very close to the camera pizza - neither of which were able to be finished - shouldn't have had the starters...
To the venue...
£75 a ticket, bought last week...
Took a pic of the sign saying no pics...
Chat with Dr Prog - who was a few rows behind us and then, a lovely surprise visit from Sid Smith, who'd only decided this morning to come up from Whitley Bay for the gig - and was heading home tonight with Twitter chum Merely Chris Barron - always nice to met people in the flesh as it were...
Meanwhile, below us...

A blistering first half - the interplay between the three drummers at the front of the stage waas mesmerising...
And the opening combination of "Discipline" and "Indiscipline" was superb...
Half time...
More chart, this time with Dr Prog, Paul Reynolds and Martin Lennon - also seated a few rows behind...
Another top notch set followed - quite jazzy inplaces and great to hear so much of my first ever KV album purchase "Lizar" making the set, with "Cirkus" being a particular highlight...
An encore of the beautiful "Starless" but no "Schizoid Man" tonight and it was all over bar the now allowed photography, signaled by Mr Levin snapping us...
We are all in this one...

Anne, for some reason, not in this - I think she was getting the camera out of my bag...

...while I took these on my phone...
...and just a couple with the camera before they exited for the last time...
Out, amazed at the musicianship...
Meanwhile, downstairs...

This, taken - the use of the word "viddying" suggests it was penned by Fripp...
A great night...

Don't I remember Neurotica starting the first set?
I think this is the first gig since 2014(?) that Tony hasn't shown photos of the setlists
I too seem to recall Neurotica but took the setlist from Setlist FM and assumed I'd misremembered...
