Up super early to record the two hour podcast and upload it etc etc - so that 10 or so people can listen - this is how I waste my time...

But, like this diary, my primary reason for doing these things is for me, so I can look/listen back and remember what I did/listened to back int e day...

Others looking in/listening in is a bonus...

Mission accomplished and out for breakfast with the EP to the wee place on Rose St...

Then, Anne headed to the Playhouse to pick up the Crimso tickets (turned out they didn't open till 12 so we'll get them on Tuesday pre-gig), while I headed to the Record Fair for a meet with Dr Prog...

Suffice to say a few purchases were made both there and, as we walked to a coffee venue, at Tall Paul's Stall in the Grassmarket...

Here is my haul for the day...

As we walked to the Grassmarket, a noisy crow was spotted...

...as was a picturesque crane...

..and a spire...

...and some old buildings...

Some book shops were also visited and enjoyed but without any money changing hands...

I needed to head off to get out to a mobility centre in Broxburn re a purchase for my mum - Anne was at Tynecastle seeing Hearts go down 1-0 to Kilmarnock (Queens came back from a goal down, to draw with leaders Ayr, away in Ayr - our sub scoring with his first kick)...

Anyway, met up with mum, Sheila and Andrew at the venue...

Mum did well, walking around the showroom...

...and purchased this nice new lightweight walker, which should improve things for her - no more sticks I think...

She can get up a good pace..

However, later on, a call from Sheila to say mum had gone a bit doolally after tea at their place - just as well she was there - into the infirmary in an ambulance...

And so it goes for an 88 year old lady with waiting to be operated upon stones and a stent in her bile duct etc etc...

We will see tomorrow how things are...

Today's artwork, "Motability"...

highlight of the Day : Shopping with Dr Prog...
