Up early and mucking about on the "number 1 singles" project while getting this up to date and uploading the podcast...
However, a call from sister Sheila around 8:30, mum complaining of not being well...
Over to Loanhead...
Just her usual morning shakes and a wee bit sweaty but mainly due to the fact that her house is like a jungle heat-wise - had to open the front door to let some heat out and amended the heating system back to normal...
Her hospital exit letter does say though that there's a chance of further infection as the stones in her bile duct have not yet been able to be fully addressed - the only doctor in Scotland who can carry out the procedure is off until the New Year - apparently having been run over by a car...
Anyway, all told, she was fine - problem is she knows she might get another infection and is the world's most pessimistic woman...
Her carer arrived and mum was fine once washed and dressed etc...
Read her meters - there is a subtle difference between these two pics...
...and deleted some stuff off her Tivo to free up space from 1% to 8% - but was not allowed to erase any of the 53 (FIFTY THREE) episodes of "Midsomer Murders" (another 10 or so sit outwith this folder!)...
Left her catching up on "Coronation Street" and was home around 11...
The rest of the day spent listening to music, finalising my choices for "20 Great No 1 Singles" (in fact I updated my "one number one single for each year I've been alive" playlist too) and watching TV, including a hilarious interview of Greg Davies by Richard Herring for his podcast "RHLSTP" - seen by pushing YouTube up onto the telly...
I note the previous episode featuring Mr Davies is also there...
Give them a watch if you want a laugh...
In the evening, what's this?
Nico likes to fetch things that have been thrown - in a dog stylee...
Eventually he settled down..
We were round at Blair & Abbie's for a tasty lasagne dinner and to meet Nico and reacquaint ourselves with Mia...
We will have the the two cats at Crispycat Towers for a month over Xmas and New Year while B&A head to the Far East and Oz...
Looking forward to it...
