Up at 6:30...

Meg the Black Cat helped me at the computer...

An 8:30 appointment with lovely podiatrist Helen and implants were implanted in my boots to try and correct over 50 years of flat footedness...

Nice...

Home, picked up Anne, then, drove back to town and parked and walked to meet up with Brodski, Dr Prog and Mrs Prog...

We met Brodders on George Street....

Coffees (tea for Mrs Prog) were enjoyed at The Artisan...

...along with a good chat – including Dr Prog’s tale of having returned a printer to Tesco after it had lain in his house for six months unopened before finally having been accidentally programmed by him only to work in German...

Amazingly, Tesco replaced the machine with an upgraded version...

Mrs Prog and Annie went off on separate errands while the three musketeers headed to a Record Fair (yesterday’s was also on again today and was being joined by another, larger one)...

I picked up discs by Andrew Hill (2), George Russell, John Cale, The Byrds and the recent excellent 2CD retrospective by Roy Harper – along with a 3 hour DVD of Tangerine Dream...

As ever, Brodski chose some expensive Kraftwerk items, while Dr Prog partook of a goodly number of music-based DVDs...

Through the St James Centre...

...for the Doc to look into PC tablets - and on throught he bitter wind to Fopp (nothing purchased) and walk along to Charlotte Square and yesterday’s fair...

Here, I bought a disc of American 20th Century String Quartets...

Once my two chums had shown how much they love each other...

....we said farewell to Dr Prog (off to Tiger Lily to watch today’s rugby – which results in this sort of behaviour from no doubt normally normal people)...

...I gave Brodski a lift home and returned to Crispycat Towers, where the new purchases were listened to, off and on, for the rest of the day along with viewing the rugby and keeping an eye on Queens once again thwarting Aberdeen in the Scottish Cup, valiantly securing a replay in Dumfries...

The film “The Infidel” entertained later on, as did “Harry Hill’s TV Burp”, Alice Cooper (64 today!) on “Room 101” and “New Girl”, a new favourite comedy from the States...

The pain in the ex-tooth spot seems to be increasing but I’m managing it with pain killers...

A good day...

Highlight of the Day : Out and about with chums...
