It was still the weekend...

Post breakfast, took Anne along to Pickleball - in the very same hall where, 20 years ago today, I broke my ankle, rather badly...

Then, having all the gear in the car, I did not head home, instead, I headed to my old home for a look at how things are going...

Popped to IKEA but it didn't open till 10, so, round to Johnny W's, super early for the rehearsal...

They were not up yet...

I boned up on the changes we made 3 weeks ago to "Let's Spend the Night Together"...

Eventually, invited in and set up...

We played the same 20 song set as last time, there having been no suggestions in the interim as to anything else...

A break after song 10...

Discussions - I suggested monthly gigs in the back room at the Dockers for charitable causes - each one featuring a set o songs by different "popular" artists - such as Bob Dylan...

Keith suggested we cover Iggy Pop's "Lust For Life"...

A cover for today's "tapes" was secured...

Home in good time for Anne to head to the shops (it's not that I don't want to go - Anne prefers doing it on her own, without me putting unwanted stuff in the trolley all the time)...

While she was out, I edited today's recordings and got them out to the boys...

This evening, chicken for tea...

...and some Bob Dylan re my suggestion above...

And I worked out all the chords and lyrics for "Lust For Life" and sent it to the team...

Later, stewed apples and custard...

...and "Strictly" and "Chicago PD" and "Bones"...

Weekend over...
