Playlist
Up...
...and started the day by creating a playlist of the music heard at the cathedral yesterday - then adding to that, the music which would be played today - suggesting to Anne that we could go along and then have lunch thereafter...
Invite accepted...
Out and down the big hill at 11:30...
Had to drown out the inane chatter on the bus with a listen to Capital Models' "Minimal" - to be played live in 2 days' time at Fopp...
Plenty of time to get to the cathedral for 1pm...
...where the Sinfonia Wind Soloists, drawn from the Scottish Sinfonia...
...delighted a large audience, with their renditions of Mozart's "Serenade in C minor" and Beethoven's "Octet in E-flat major"...
Excellent - I will return, solo, tomorrow, for more music...
Along to Mia's Kitchen on Dalry Road...
Soft drink for Anne re driving later to a rearranged, post Monday's storm, Pilates...
Best mussels ever and some mozzarella and tomato for the EP...
...followed by a very large indeed Pizza Quatro Stagione each...
If I get this again, I will ask that the ham on the top be replaced with onions...
We looked delighted when they arrived...
...but completely stuffed when the almost empty plates were removed...
Home on the bus with no need for any intake for the rest of the day...
Wrote up the blog and, for no reason, did some listening to Ian Hunter in the back room, while Anne was at Pilates...
This evening, "Madam Blanc" series finished off - surely it won't be recommissioned?
Drawn in to Dundee United away at Rapid Vienna, managing an admirable 2-2 draw, coming from behind twice...
The football, for me, was soundtracked with some recent acquisitions...
Ended the day with a "Cold Case"...
Bed at 11...
Highlight of the Day : Lunch with the EP...
