Up pre 7...
Alice Cooper day No 1...
Anne out at Zumba...
Watched a couple of "Travelers"...
Then, spent a few hours sorting out a switch over of box sets and books...
There are, of course, too many books - which will need to be sorted somehow...
The move was soundtracked by the Coop...
On Anne's return, lunch and a "Cold Case"...
...then, some reggae...
...and some classical...
...and some Crimso...
...and it was time to head into town...
Down the hill for a bus to Haymarket and a tram over to the top of Leith Walk...
Drinks at Mathers on Broughton St before a walk past tonight's venue and further drinks...
...at Jeremiah's Taproom...
Anne had a glass of red wine named after Rafa the dog...
On the wall, a ticket for a Genesis show in 1977 - me and Brodski were at one of the two shows on the day before...
We liked it here and may well return...
Then, to Down the Hatch for some Canadian fayre...
It was absolutely roasting in the back room but the food was worth it...
...rounded off by the best banoffee milkshake ever...
Back to the Playhouse...
Obligatory pre gig pic...
Support act Bobbie Dazzle were quite entertaining in a glam rock kind of way and I downloaded their LP last thing...
Then, ready for the main event....
In our row, two wee boys, aged 8 and 9 were at their first ever gig - that'll be a story to tell - with Alice Cooper make up applied by their mum...
Lights down at 8:40...
...and off we went for my seventeenth Alice Cooper show since February 1982 - and our first for 8 years...

90 minutes of fun...

Welcome to the Show
...followed by nine classics in quick succession...
No More Mr. Nice Guy
I'm Eighteen
Under My Wheels
Bed of Nails
Billion Dollar Babies
Be My Lover
Lost in America
He's Back (The Man Behind the Mask)
Hey Stoopid
Then a Drum Solo, providing, probably, a welcome break for the now 77 year old...
Back out for the more theatrical element of the set (including two stage invaders being dispatched via throat slitting and impalement)
Welcome to My Nightmare
Cold Ethyl
Go to Hell
Poison
Nita Strauss Guitar Solo/The Black Widow
Ballad of Dwight Fry
...and, of course, for the crimes committed, the ritual beheading of the villain...
Killer
I Love the Dead
...only for Alice to return in top hat and tails for...
School's Out / Another Brick in the Wall, Part 2
"It's party time..."
....a Grande Finale indeed...
But then, back for one more song...
Feed My Frankenstein
And all over, with a shout out for Ozzy Osbourne...
Absolute masterclass...
Tram and bus home...
A very good day indeed...
Highlight of the Day : Alice Cooper...

Glad you enjoyed the gig, quite a show by the look of your pics. At 77 I wonder will he ever return to Scotland?
