Up early...

Once again, time to update the red book of CDs I own...

The majority of these new entries are refugees from brother-in-law Keith's collection...

I found a list of LPs I used to own, inside the book and decided to see how many of them might be on Jorg's hard drive, which he gifted to me in October...

Together with other items from the discographies of acts by whom I may well only have had one LP back in the day, suffice to say this led to over 100 hours' worth of music being added to my iTunes...

Some of which was even listened to...

Out for breakfast with the EP...

The Piece Box at Polwarth was the venue - followed by an impromptu meeting and discussion with two young Mormon missionaries...

Into town and a walk along Princes St (slippers and Euros) to Fopp (nothing) and back before heading home for a quiet afternoon...

Queens finally won again in the league - 3-0 v St Mirren away at Paisley...

Hopefully this is the start of something...

Meanwhile, this was shown off on the Twitter...

A copy with five, rather than seven, signatures is currently on e-bay for £750...

Well...

In the evening, a tasty Red Thai Chicken Curry from Anne and we watched the first in the series "Let It Shine", where Gary Barlow of Take That fame looks to choose the cast for a boy band to appear in a musical based around Take That's repertoire...

Two of the contestants were very good indeed..

Some weren't...

All in all, reasonable nonsense for older people, like us, with nothing better to do on a Saturday evening...

At nine, a poignant documentary on the last five years of David Bowie's life...

Such a sad last few moments as Tony Visconti played the isolated vocal of "Lazarus", from "Blackstar"...

Bowie's passing reminds of our own mortality...

Indeed, I may only have the same time left now as that during which I've been writing this infernal blog...

Lights out...

Highlight of the Day : David Bowie....
