Listening this evening to the trilogy of Beefheart's final output before retiring from music at the ripe old age of 41...

They have been on the shelf awaiting a listen in the seven weeks since brother-in-law Keith gifted them to me re his big streaming-based clear out - still plenty more to be sampled...

Why has it taken 35 years or so for these three gems to arrive in the collection though...

Funny how tastes change...

And, in true eclectic fashion, much Status Quo too added to the iTunes tonight - found on Jorg's hard drive...
