Crucial Music Playlist No 1

I was asked to create a list of ten seminal (to me) albums - and here's the result. As you can see, I've called this "No 1" so more may (or indeed may not) follow...

These are ten important (to me) albums, from 1967 to 1989, which have had an influence on my musical life...

1967 The Velvet Underground - The Velvet Underground and Nico
1970 King Crimson - Lizard
1971 Alice Cooper - Love it to Death
1971 Yes - Fragile
1973 Fripp & Eno (No Pussyfooting)
1975 Pink Floyd - Wish You were Here
1977 David Bowie - Low
1978 UK - UK
1982 Brian Eno - On Land
1989 The Blue Nile - Hats

I hope you enjoy them...

Hi David,

Very good list and pleased to see Lizard given a placing. That has always been one of my fav king Crimson albums. Hugely undervalued.

Cheers Barrie - Glad you liked the list - as for Lizard, it was the first King Crimson album I bought so holds a special place for me too...
