Anne off to Zumba - me, down the hill and a bus to Haymarket...
...and a tram to Ocean Terminal, soundtracked by Goose at Madison Square Gardens in June...
Bumped into step niece in law Abbie and daughter Ruby - they were heading uptown...
Ruby is rather shy...
To the fair...
...nothing found, apart from two free empty LP covers...
Tram back to the cathedral...
...passing Fopp, where we will play tomorrow...
Today's recital was by nine pupils from St Mary's Music School, Piano Summer School...
The scene was set...
Top notch performances from each of these highly talented youngsters, with not a single bum note to be heard...
The nonet...
Off stage, they reverted from serious players to the excited teens they are...
Back for a final group photo with their mentor....
Wine and coriander secured and a bus home, only two Oasis fans (w/the hats) on board...
Home and did nothing all evening...
Except enjoy Anne's Keralan Chicken Curry and a glass of wine...
A "Cold Case" enjoyed...
Some work upstairs...
Then, at 8:50, a call from Moira Weitzen - drummer Johnny was in A&E re a thing with his blood phosphates...
He'd been out with brother Dr Prog at lunchtime and was taken ill...
An ambulance to the infirmary...
Checked over and found to be fine and sent home and all was OK...
Then, later, a call re the bloods and the phosphates and told to pack a bag and go back in...
And so, this new version of "Minimal" was quickly created and sent to Johnny B and Keith re tomorrow, which is now likely to be an even more laid back trio performance...
Final act of the day was my pic for #CDFriday - I didn't play these but they were the first things to hand when I remembered I should be posting...
