Finding some thing from 56 years ago can be good...

Playlist

Slept in...

...so, no time to do any work this morning...

However, it was the 21st of July and so, this happened 56 years ago today...

Later today, BlueSky chum Paul Rodwell directed me to this site, where you can watch the entire mission in real time...

Fascinating...

This morning though, out for breakfast...

A drive over to Morningside, soundtracked by new to me TL:DR which, for some reason, did not drag into my Apple Music a week or so ago but did so today...

Nice laid back ambient jazz...

To the roof of Waitrose...

As in Stockbridge the other day, some biscuits bought to justify our using their parking facilities...

Out and to the nearby cafe La'Telve...

Piping hot Americanos...

...with piping hot milk on the side...

A breakfast wrap for me...

Smashed avocado with poached egg and the dreaded feta cheese on sourdough toast for Anne...

£30 for breakfast - is this where we are now?  Why yes, yes it is Dave...

Inflation eh?

Made a deal with Anne that I would take her to Asda to search for a hair product, if I could go to FourSquare for a look through their CDs...

At Asda, hair product not found but, at FourSquare, this quintet for £1.50 secured...

Which kinda subsidised the breakfast outlay...

Home and ripping and listening...

No lunch required but a "Cold Case" watched...

The first of two Gerhard Richter related books arrived...

Pictured here suitably Richter-esquely...

Anne to Pickleball - me to watching 2 episodes of "Travelers" going into the intriguing final season and the last 10 episodes...

And recording and uploading the podcast...

This evening, post a macaroni cheese and very nice bread tea, "Mastermind" - loadsa general knowledge successfully answered correctly but zero specialist subject questions answered correctly...

In the half hour between that and "University Challenge", writing the notes for the podcast and adding them...

Such a load of bollocks that Apple Music, unlike iTunes, doesn't allow the copying and pasting of playlist content...

Hence the, these days, pics rather than lists, of the daily playlists at the top of each entry here...

Anyway, on "University Challenge" after last week's dismal 50, this week, 170 - amazing the difference when the questions are on things you know...

After that, eschewed the "Humans" thing (see last week for my critique) for the new series of "Fake of Fortune" (we were keen to watch it) - a new series and a quite obvious Churchill painting which no-one wanted to verify...

No idea now, just a few hours later, of what else I did before heading to bed at 11:30...

Oh well...
