...and listening to a new thing by collaborator Robert Scott Thomson - he's even more prolific than me on the releases front...

We have an LP due out in October, which I produced back in February - since then, he's released 16 recordings to my 11...

On the advice of Joe Higham, downloaded a back catalogue item from Jo Johnson...

Not bad at all...

Also today, a couple of new recommendations from Gramophone magazine...

Fired up yesterday's work on the possible CBQ/Higham collab and did some fine tuning...

Elongated the spoken word part - amended the reverb - and added a seventh part at the end...

A new LP...

Sent it to Joe in Brussels - he likes it - amazing...

Of course, due to the pipeline, unless I move something to January, this won't be out until May next year...

Breakfast at home - mushroom and egg based delight for Mr CBQ...

Back to the computer to create all the MP3s and upload the WAVs to Bandcamp and write up the sleeve notes and credits...

More "Swedish Dicks" at lunchtime now that "Rizzoli & Isles" is no more...

A trip to Dumfrie for tonight's game against Edinburgh City was decided against - instead we bought tickets for Saturday's match against Ross County...

A replay of our first ever visit to Palmerston a good 25 years or more ago now...

Some listening in the back room - The Wire tapper and the new one from Jonny Nash...

and so, a little re-arrangement and I have given myself a less comfy position from which to enjoy music there...

Post that listening, I crated these "smart playlists...

All tracks on my hard drives (which include all my CDs) of these exact durations...

This is how I waste my time...

Tasty almon based pasta tea...

...was followed by the excellent and, quite possibly, better than the Avengers, "The Flash" - different universe of course and perhaps one I need to investigate further...

While watching we monitored tonight's scores - 4-0 wins for Queens and Hearts, that latter away at Hamilton...

It's all good...
