Today...
...up, after listening through to the Swan Songs while still in bed...
It was adjudged to be "not great"...
Then, initially, under skies like these...
...and in this room...
...once the lights were on...
...and the system was booted up...
...I updated the diary...
Helped Anne advise Jane of the result of the wordle efforts this morning over breakfast...
A fine cat on the calendar and some horrible blustery, rainy weather outside...
Post said breakfast...
...Anne to Zumba with Lynn, me to the Gym...
Leg press frenzy...
Then, out...
And home...
...I went through the Fopp albums of the year book and downloaded around 30 which I didn't already have and listened to tracks from them all...
Hence the large playlist above...
The majority of it was surprisingly good - mainly mainstream stuff it has to be said but, enjoyable nonetheless...
Some telly with lunch...
The afternoon was spent, painstakingly trying to sort out the vocal tracks I recorded yesterday...
It might well have been easier to re-record them I suppose...
But to work with what was there was, in fact, the lazy option - which is usually my preferred course...
By tea time, I thought I was done...
Very tasty chili from Anne this evening, accompanied by a glass of a nice New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc...
...more listening back this evening revealed more work being required...
Instead, some telly - "Return to Paradise" and a couple of "Bones"...
That was probably it...
