Up just after six and into week 46, with loads to do today...
But, as ever, for now, there was a wee cat to attend to...

Some work first thing on fixing a couple of glitches re the new music on "Broken"...

Then, trawling back through old lyric ideas and working things up to the point where I had the fifteen sets of lyrics I need for the project...

Nephew Ali arrived to refit the radiator post decorating work...

The back room now empty of stuff loaded in re the Exec Producer's project...

Then, having done nothing re the diary, the podcast or the vocal recording, out...

And, discovery for me about just how eye-wateringly expensive curtains are...

Writing up the diary - 5 days done...
Listened to the whole of "Sparklemusik" plus the first few bonus tracks while writing...
A great LP, if I say so myself...
This was prompted by some back and forth with Sparky re all the work we did on it...
Forgot to mention that, on Thursday, I was interviewed about my music, during which I was asked to recommend 4 LPs for readers of the fanzine to listen to...
I chose 2 song LPs which I worked on for, quite literally, years...
...and the aforementioned...
Then, the Frippertronic guitar work which permeates much of what I do was represented by the original LP of "Disquietmusik" (2017), of which the ninth volume will be recorded later this month and released in early December...
And, finally, as an example of my purely ambient work, "Coldclear" (2021)...

Anne's Pilates cancelled through Instructor illness...
Unpictured baked potatoes for tea...
"Mastermind", then a half hour break..
First takes of 10 new vocals done...
Quick work...
Then, "University Challenge" - we came second with 90 but nowhere near Sheffield's 290...
Back upstairs and the last five vocals recorded, followed swiftly by the podcast links...
A quick mix of two of the new tracks, including the just recorded first take vocals, made it into the podcast, which was created and uploaded, finishing today's work around 11:30...
I will do the tracklisting and notes tomorrow...
One last "Plebs" before bed...
