Monday the 25th of May and I was up at 6:02 working away as usual but for some reason I wasn't updating the diary because I'm having to write three entries at the same time today on Wednesday...
A day of rehearsing, started with the Sombre Reptiles 6CD box set equivalent, bought by someone via Bandcamp overnight for just 50p...
Today's big new discovery was "ambient country" trio, SUSS - loads of their work acquired and added to the library...

I recall now, first thing I was working on the running order for the upcoming gig by Capital Models at Stewart Brewing on the 6th of June. Setting out for the guys in the band, where I'll be making introduction and announcements and where we'll just crack on into the next song, all in preparation for today's rehearsal...
At 10 o'clock I was off in the car over to Roslin for said rehearsal and it went very well indeed. We ran through all three sets - obviously there were errors made, but we will work on those. We played for an hour, took a 10 minute break, half an hour, 10 minute break, half an hour, 10 minute break, and another hour...
So all told, we played for three hours and it took about three and a half hours to do and I was back home by around about half past two or quarter to three, in plenty of time for Anne to
go to her Pilates at 4:30...
While she was away, I edited the recordings from today's session, and then sent them out to the guys and asked them to have a listen and come back to me with songs that they think we ought to play again when we have our final rehearsal on the 31st of May...
There was some research into possible replacement coat racks and I corresponded with the company we got the faulty one from and we are sending it back...
For tea tonight, salmon, chips and peas, tasty and then later on some listening and some television watching...
Last night we started watching Season 2 of "Citadel" and we polished off the season tonight...
