Stumbled across a musician on YouTube who has, for 19 of Taylor Swift's best known songs, removed every single thing apart from the vocals and then, meticulously built a full blown rock band around them, creating an excellent new compilation for me, which soundtracked today's breakfast and discovery from Anne...
Like me, she reckoned this was apt...
...(to be fair, it's a card probably most husband could rightfully give on an anniversary)...
And she liked these...
Although today is the day, due to Pickleball duties, full celebratory mode is postponed until tomorrow...
And so, a goodly amount of the day was spent on a follow up project to this...
Creating the two preceding CBQ compilations from 1968, "The Rock Machine Turns You On" and "The Rock Machine LovesYou"...
And, then, creating a new "Volume II" of each, at the instigation of BlueSky chum and recipint of "Fill Your Head With Rock II", Andy Long...
This involved the downloading of 13 LPs not already in the collection (see below)...
The anniversary tea of home made soup plus toast, was accompanied by a reasonable Chianti...
A pepper incident was dealt with s best it could be...
The soup was, nonetheless, peppery but still top...
Ended the day by finishing off the "CBS Sampler" project...
