Not fang but another "the Black Cat" from the environs...

Nice flowers in the kitchen, courtesy of the EP...

..and lovely weather today as the beast went about its business...

...and home under blue skies...

...whilst listening to enjoyable music...

With the EP under the weather, an evening of telly ensued - although I did record the links for tomorrow's podcast whilst "Coronation St" was enjoyed downstairs...

This, the latest random addition to the collection, will be featured...

A call from sister Sheila to advise mum not 100% so we'll pop out tomorrow for a visit...

Telly highlights - "Big Bang" some Evelyn Waugh thing and "Harry Hill's Alien Something or Other"...

This morning, no cats in the house but Fang the Black Cat had taken up what he reckoned was a strategic position re possibly nabbing a bird from the feeding station...

To the dentist once again for, hopefully, the final work on the filling which has been plaguing me since, I think, January...

Of course just opposite the dentist is the Lothian Cat Rescue shop - these two for just 50 new pence each...

...and this added randomly from JB's ex-collection re his decision to stream - now down to just over 40 CDs in that pile of his and brother-in-law Keith's discs...

Other than that, "Marvels Agents of Shield" enjoyed while Anne was at Zumba..

Highlight of the Day : Tooth fixed - hopefully...

...even...

...if it's not for long...

Bye Tiger...

Off out to gambol with his brother, Fang the Black Cat...

In the evening, a prospective musicking session with Keith fell through so, instead, played some songs on my own - including the only four I've written (one with niece Kitty when she was just 8) since my last song-based album Starlightnight in 2012...

Late on, "Holby" ended the day nicely...

In the evening.very late home but Anne out at Zumba - not enough time before "University Challenge" (Monkman v Seagull) to watch any of my nonsense science fiction programmes which are piling up on the Tivo...

"Broadchurch" is slow but finally staring to get somewhere...

For no other reason than no pics taken outside, here is a view of the new song...

..and the pile of CDs growing as they leave the Living Room shelf...

...and just the collection in general...

..and today's random selection - the question has to be asked - "why?"...

Small birds and old pictures...

Playlist
Various - I am the DJ Pt 342
Nyman - The Michael Nyman Anthology
Cloudland Blue Quartet - Underground Like Doug McClure
Lou Reed - Rock'n'Roll Heart

Up at 6:24, which, in old money, was 5:24...

Looked like it was going to be another good day, weather-wise...

Some preparation of playlists, some singing of songs and some breakfasting at home...

Out to my mum's for Mothers' Day lunch...

Strange that someone who can take 45 mins to eat a chicken roll can scoff a piece of Belgian chocolate cake in zero time whatsoever...

Good times...

Back home for more musicking and then, a walk to Jane and Bobby's...

..for Mothers' day for Jane and Mary...

Bob cooked steaks for all...

...served with all the trimmings...

...and the kids had made a roulade...

Kitty did the honours...

...but was disappointed to removed from cutting duties after having made a "hash" of it...

Outside, wild life was noted...

...and identified...

Olly displayed all the economics knowledge of Scottish separatists...

Oh dear...

Mary contemplated how it was that even though the UK's debt was a bigger number than Scotland's, as percentage of GDP it was under 4% while Scotland's is over 9% - far too high to be a member of the EU and, in fact the highest of any country in Europe - were it to become a country in its own right...

Oh dear...

This is how the SNP and their apologists pull the wool over the eyes of around a third of the electorate in Scotchland...

If only they could understand it the way the EP does...

Meanwhile, out in the garden, Kitty was showing off her athleticism...

Then, a big box of old photos was delved into...

...and the identity of a mystery figure in the garden years ago was debated over...

Cheers..

Turns out, it was an almost unrecognisable Exec Producer...

A very good afternoon/evening...

On the way home, we were befriended by Daisy the Dog on the bus...

This randomly joined the collection...

And the weekend was rounded off by the excellent first episode of the latest in "Line of Duty"...

Top notch...

Lights out...
