This evening, post some pre Xmas drinks with some legal chums and securing a secet Santa for a secret beneficiary, home to some new acquisitions which have arrived after having been secured at "bargain" prices...
..of course, normally, "bargain" refers to obtaining something which you were going to buy in the first place but at a lower price - not just anything you buy with money off...
I am reminded of the fictitious sale sign which reads "Save 100% - Don't Buy Anything"...
Listening to these was enjoyed around (a) a very tasty sausage casserole and (b) the last of Michael Portillo's Great Continental Rail Journeys, this week from Lyon to Marseilles...
