Good skies again this morning...

Meanwhile, the beast from the back door has moved to the back gate (or there are two - or more - of them)...

Now identified as common or garden "Cross Spiders"...

Off into the day, soundtracked by the originals of the Capital Models' covers sets...

While Anne enjoyed an unexpected day out, involving a beautiful beach in East Lothian with Jane, Bobby, Olly, Kitty and Rafa the Dog (no pics - Anne is "normal" and does not carry a camera everywhere she goes), I took a walk along to Fopp, past an autumnal Charlotte Square...

On the way back, a pop in to HMV and more classical "bargains" partaken of - box sets from Brendel, Shaham and, early purveyor of early music, Walter Gerwig...

Some baking had taken place in the late afternoon by Olly and Kitty, each making their own éclairs - examples of which were delivered to Crispycat Towers by Jane and Kitty...

Anne had also been busy, creating a new to us dish of Morrocan Lamb, again utilising newly bought spices from that London...

Yum...

..followed by home made éclairs and lovely coffee...

Some TV, "Have I Got News For You", lifted this week by the presence of Frank Skinner - and the return of "Not Going Out" - which is still good but still misses Tim Vine's presence...

Ended the day with the commencement of the recording of this week's podcast, including tracks from all of today's purchases...

Highlight of the Day : Tasty Morrocan Lamb and children's baking...
