A somewhat larger playlist today as we travelled home...

But first, still half a day to enjoy Berlin...

Packed and down in the very small lift for the last time...

My hand luggage was extremely heavy given the big heavy book and CD intake of the trip...

But we tried our best to avoid "last day syndrome"...

I struggled along the Ku'damm...

...and we caught the S-Bahn to Friedrichstrasse...

...for one last visit to Dussmann - the Kulturkaufhaus...

...wherer a further five CDs joined the fray and were squeezed into my bag...

Then, one last trip to Prenzlauer Berg on the tram, via Orianburgerstrasse...

...passing Felafel UFO, which, although I had vowed to dine there were we to have found it again, was foregone for another lunch venue later...

Hot drinks and a chance to take our bags off our shoulders were very much enjoyed...

...along with very small apple cakes...

The scar on the side of my head arose on our first night when, on being over-enthusiastic to show Anne a film on the internet of a racoon eating grapes, I smashed it off one of the concrete beams on the ceiling of our room...

Owyah...

Unseen in the pic above is another nasty wound on the top of my bonce, incurred at the DDR museum on Friday by clattering it on the door frame of the Trabant as I exited it...

Not to worry, here are some bikes...

We took a wee walk around...

... and yet another record shop was visited...

A great wee shop but, alas, I had no space left in my bag...

Lunch at Konnopkes - we couldn't visit Berlin twice and not have eaten there - not as good as Potsdam of course...

Leaving Prenzlauer Berg till the next time...

...it was back to the Ku'damm and yet another record shop - it didn't matter this time that there was no space in my bag though...

The final walk back to the hotel...

Through Wilmersdorf and we stopped off for a coffee...

..and a yoghurt with fruit...

...at the very nice Sidney Cafe...

Through Olivaer Gardens...

...picked up the case...

...and trundled to the U-Bahn...

...to Rudlow and a bus...

...to the airport...

...on to the plane...

...goodbye Berlin...

Cyberman on board...

...hello Edinburgh...

..and home - from the hotel to Crispycat Towers having taken just over seven hours, two of which were spent in the air..

The haul...

Good to be back but a great trip...

Highight of the Day : Home...
