Not much to report today...

A call to my mum this morning - she was off to the bank to ensure she had not been robbed - she had not been but she was not alone in having been targeted by fraudsters - she is spreading the word...

At lunchtime, in the British Heart Foundation Shop, a disc of music by Zbigniew Preisner, compiled by the composer himself, of works written for the films of Krzysztof Kieslowski, "Dekalog", "The Double Life of Veronique" and "Three Colours Blue", "Three Colours White" and "Three Colours Red"...

Ninety nine pence - on Amazon it's over £20...

Another bargain...

And more space required...

Not to worry...

The weather has been rubbish for the past few days due to the remains of a hurricane passing by...

It's been a little like autumn...

Back home prawn and chorizo spaghetti hit the mark...

Some listening to the Preisner disc and some work on the 24 paintings project which I think will now be released in time for Christmas...

A good programme on BBC2 presented by Andrew Neil set out what it might mean for the rest of the UK if Scotland votes for independence on 18 September...

While it almost goes without saying independence would be a disaster for Scotland (such naivety and blatant ignorance of basic economics is frankly unbelievable), it seems not that great for the remaining UK either...

Lose, lose in fact...

While the likelihood of a "yes" vote is remote, sadly things will never be the same again no matter the outcome...

Oh well, everything changes and nothing lasts forever...

Highlight of the Day :  Prawn and chorizo spaghetti
