Not a single note was listened to though as I made my way through the day - I did however sample the wares of US prog/math rock outfit Audible Silence, who have three albums (one including over 3 hours of bonus material) available over on Bandcamp...

They, like things from the new box and the ten discs which arrived yesterday, will no doubt feature in Playlist No 30 next Saturday...

In the afternoon, breaks were taken for the 3rd episode of the now completely sucked us in "The Honourable Woman" plus "Mock the Week"...

We also booked tickets for recitals which will take place while we're in Berlin later this year...

The Kuss Quartett (with soprano Mojca Erdmann on two of the pieces) will perform works by Schumann, Mozart, Mendelssohn and Lachenmann and pianist Nicolas Hodges will play pieces by Bach, Rihm, Schubert and, like the Kuss Quartet, Lachenmann...

In the evening out to Queensferry o meet up with chums Chris-with-a-ch, Lesley (sister of Creek's Coblers) and Derek...

Your correspondent's recent new regime was seen to definitely still have a long way to go - luckily the self times camera focused on the chair arm in the foreground...


An excellent Indian meal and much comedy chat ensued before more drinks (Sparkling Mineral Water and Diet Irn Bru for Mr CBQ)...
