Up early and working at the PC...

Meg the Black Cat was relaxing while I worked...

At 10, off into town to meet up with Dr Prog for the first time in a while...

Soundtracked by the forgotten how quite good it was CBQ album from 2007, "Ersatzreal" - now subject of my ongoing "track of the day" project...

Parked at the Saturday Place...

Possible album artwork created by chance...

You never know...

The sun was out but it was cold...

Architecture entertained...

Because of my photo taking, I was still a few minutes away from the library at the time of our proposed 10:30 meet...

However, on such a good day, photos took priority over a waiting doctor of progophraphy...

..so that, on arrival, Phil was already in situ, having made some selections...

I liked the view from the window...

..and borrowed a few items myself - these plus some Reich, some Nordic jazz in the shape of Atomic and some blues from Mr Roy Buchanan...

To nearby Cafe Flotentine - not to be confused with Cafe Florentin...

..where some tasty fayre was enjoyed while Phil showed me his latest "piece of kit" as they say...

...and the latest edition of "Prog" magazine...

He was extemely pleased for me re my proposed trip to London to see UK in May...

After some good chat, we parted and will reconvene after trips to Italia (him) and Deutschland (me)...

More tops of buildings on the way back to the car...

Back home, a new project was underway - the fitting of a new radiator in the main bedroom - which gives the Exec Producer the chance to executively produce out of the house the carpet she does not like...

Meg helped while I took pictures...

She enjoyed the moved furniture too...

A solo rehearsal playing along with the CD of Wednesday night ensued re next Saturday's gig...

Meanwhile, in football this afternoon, results did not really go Queens' way in their fight to avoid relegation...

However, with Ayr winning and Raith and QOS each drawing, the run in is going as I predicted and they are kind on on track...

I am hoping from here that Queens can get a win and a draw from their last three games (including a six pointer away at Raith) while Ayr lose all of theirs and Raith get just one more point...

Straws being grasped at...

In the evening a tasty Indian accompanied by the next in the "Montalbano" series...

Highlight of the Day : Meeting up with the progmeister...
