Listening to my albums of the month from last January today on shuffleplay...

I’m now speaking with Pam every morning and she seemed much better today than she was towards the end of last week...

She confirmed she was still having temperatures occasionally and some coughing in the night which keeps her awake but she’s getting a lot of sleep during the day by way of compensation...

The hospital is still trying to sort out home administration of the long term antibiotics...

Unfortunately, the district nurses can't do the necessary twice a day injections and they can't give the larger doses required to reduce the number of applications...

So the microbiology team is looking into matters and trying to resolve this problem...

But they also advised that they would not be happy discharging Pam, even if home antibiotics were do-able, as they want to get the temperature thing sorted first...

Other than that, a few drinks on George St in the evening by way of a farewell to an old chum...

Consequently, home slightly the worse for wear but still alert enough to attend to Anne’s errand of bringing home some coriander to adorn her very tasty Red Thai Chicken Curry...

Perhaps I have too many watches...

Highlight of the Day : Speaking with Pam and, of course, Anne’s tasty cuisine...
